To provide an X-ray apparatus in which variation taking place in an imaged part of a subject is made to appear in an X-ray image immediately.
In this apparatus, each data processing period of three data processing sections 3A-3C for images which perform data processing of data for X-ray images by a pipeline form possessed by an X-ray image acquisition section 3 is 1/2 of an X-ray irradiation period and time TM taken for the X-ray image acquisition section 3 to finish a sheet of fluoroscopy image is shortened beyond time ta for one period of an X-ray irradiation period as 3×[(time ta for one period of an X-ray irradiation period)/2]=1.5 ta. On the other hand, since the X-ray irradiation period of an X-ray tube 1 is the same as the image display period of an image display monitor 4, if time TM taken to finish a sheet of fluoroscopic image is shortened for above one period of the X-ray irradiation period, the acquired fluoroscopic image can be displayed with timing, which is earlier by one period than hitherto, with the image display monitor 4 and consequently variation taking place in the imaged part of the subject M is made to immediately appear in the fluoroscopic image.
