Abstract:
To provide an X-ray inspection device with which it is possible to effectively prevent X-rays from leaking out via an X-ray shield door without having to install a protrusion at a lower end of the X-ray shield door.SOLUTION: An X-ray inspection device 1 comprises an X-ray irradiation unit 6, a conveyance unit 5, an X-ray detection unit 7, and an X-ray shield door 20. The X-ray shield door 20 is arranged on one side of the conveyance unit 5 in a width direction Y which is orthogonal to both article A conveyance direction X and the vertical direction Z, releasing an irradiation space R open in an open state and preventing the leakage of X-rays from the irradiation space R in a closed state. As viewed from the conveyance direction X in the closed state, an inclined part 60 which is inclined downward from one end toward the other end in the width direction Y is formed in at least a portion of an inner surface 21 of the X-ray shield door, with an inclined lower end 62 in the inclined part 60 being positioned, in the closed state, closer to the other side in the width direction Y than is the position of an end 5E on one side of the conveyance part 5 in the width direction Y.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
