PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect presence of sucked yarn certainly even if a reflection sensor is used.SOLUTION: A yarn piecing truck 3 comprises a suction pipe 44 sucking up spun yarn 10 and a reflection sensor 100 detecting the spun yarn 10 passing the suction pipe 44. A reflect unit 120 reflecting light emitted from the reflection sensor 100 to a direction different from the reflection sensor 100 is provided at a part across a way of the spun yarn 10 in the suction pipe 44 and facing the reflection sensor 100.
