The first suctioning port 2 is placed at the neighbor of the cloth end of yarn feeding side and near the weaving port seen from the pre- weaving side, an air blowing port 9 is placed at a position beyond a temple 3 from the first suctioning port 2, and successively the second suctioning port 7 is placed at a position near a selvage-cutting machine. The end of the yarn which has been cut by a weft-cutting machine is led to the temple 3 while the end is being suctioned by the first suctioning port 2, successively this fringed selvage end is spread by blowing air from the air blowing port 9, the spread yarn end is cut by the selvage-cutting apparatus while the spread yarn end is being suctioned by the second suctioning port 7, and then the cut yarn waste is suctioned by the second suctioning port 7.
