Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently bond an end part of woven warp and a top end part of new warp by superposing an end part of the woven warp, a top end part of the new warp and a thermal-adhesive fiber, twisting and melting the superposed part by heating and solidifying by cooling.
CONSTITUTION: An end part of woven warp is superposed with a top end part of new warp and a thermal-adhesive fiber and twisted, then the superposed part is heated to melt the thermal-adhesive fiber, thus the resultant system is solidified by cooling and the end part of woven warp is bonded with said top end part to perform warp ending. Besides, preferably, a hot melt adhesive molten by heat is applied on said superposed part and solidified by cooling.
