To provide a yarn feeder having a multiple number of scissors, starting new yarn feeding by rocking selected scissors among them, capable of performing the change in the yarn-feeding without causing any trouble between the new and old yarns with each other when the scissors performing the yarn-feeding keep waiting postures, and capable of easily performing the maintenance of the inside of the yarn feeder.

This yarn feeder has a scissors rock-operating system device consisting of a scissors-selecting means and scissors-rocking means, and a scissors open and close-operating system device consisting of a scissors-opening and closing means-operating means and a scissors-opening and closing means, installing the scissors-selecting means and scissors-opening and closing means-operating means at its top part, and the scissors-rocking means and scissors-opening and closing means at its bottom part, also the scissors-selecting means and scissors-opening and closing means-operating means at the top part, and the scissors, scissors-rocking means and scissors-opening and closing means at the bottom part, respectively and pivoting/supporting the bottom part at the lower part of the top part.
