Abstract:
To provide a yarn forming a woven fabric having cut-resistance satisfying requirements of class 3 of EN388 standard specification and abrasion resistance.
The yarn is obtained by spinning polyamide staple fibers which are HT-PA (high-tenacity polyamide) staple fibers having a tenacity of 4.5 cN/dtex and a fiber length of 40-170 mm. Mixed spinning of fibers which are HPF-PVA (high performance fiber type polyvinyl alcohol) fibers and have a modulus of 10 GPa with textured nylon-6,6-polyamide fiber filaments can be carried out in the spun yarn.
