PURPOSE: To easily splice any yarn by forming a roughened inner surface of a pipe for housing a yarn end and through which fluid flows, bringing the housed yarn into impact-contact with the inner surface, and making a state having no stranding.
CONSTITUTION: A pipe 1 is attached in a yarn splicing device 20 by a screw 21 so as to be continuously moved in the axial direction, the length of a yarn 10 from a clamp point K to the yarn end 11 is made constant, and the yarn end 11 is housed within the specified position. The inner surface 2 of the pipe 1 is roughened by knurling, the yarn end 11 is brought into impact-contact with the roughened inner surface 2 by the fluid (air) flow from a nozzle 30 into a state substantially having no stranding. Therefore, any yarn can be simply spliced.
