Abstract:
To provide a yarn unwinding assist device which can effectively suppress increase of unwinding tensile force.SOLUTION: A yarn unwinding assist device 20 assists unwinding of a yarn Y from a yarn feeding bobbin SB. The yarn unwinding assist device 20 includes a guide cylinder 50 arranged to cover a core tube of the yarn feeding bobbin SB. On an inner peripheral surface 52a of the guide cylinder 50, a low friction material layer 61 is provided which has a dynamic friction coefficient of 0.1 or more and 0.25 or less with respect to a cotton yarn.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
