To provide a yarn winding device which realizes energy-saving performance, and is constituted so that a bobbin with residual yarn can be efficiently resupplied.
An automatic winder 10 includes a plurality of winding units 92, a bobbin carrying conveyor 93 and a machine base control device 94. The winding units 92 transmit the number of discharge bobbins being discharged yarn feeding bobbins to the machine base control device 94. The bobbin carrying conveyor 93 carries the discharged bobbins discharged by the winding units 92 to be collected. The machine base control device 94 puts the bobbin carrying conveyor 93 in a stopping state at first, and stops again after carrying the discharge bobbins by driving the bobbin carrying conveyor 93 when the total number of discharge bobbins discharged from the plurality of winding units 92 reaches a predetermined conveyor driving threshold value. The bobbin carrying conveyor 93 is intermittently driven through the above repetition.
