A yarn winding machine 100 includes: a communication path 17 that connects the winding unit 11, the assisting unit 16, a first control part 14a, and a second control part 14b so as to be communicable with one another. An information control device 18 is arranged on the communication path 17. The information control device 18 selects whether to transmit or shield an electronic signal in accordance with a transmitting destination of the electronic signal.
