Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a yarn winding tube feed device for a winder, capable of restraining the tendency of enlarging a doffing device itself, and automatically feeding a yarn winding tube.
CONSTITUTION: A doffing device 6 is provided, so as to be capable of free travel along a winder having many yarn winding units laid in parallel, and each yarn winding unit is provided with a storage means 3 for storing a yarn winding tube 13 used during the doffing operation of the device 6. Also, a transfer means 26 for feeding the yarn winding tube 13 to the storage means 3 is provided along the winder, and a means 27 is provided for dropping the tube 13 carried on the means 26 into a desired means 3. In this case, the tube 13 is first carried to a desired winding unit on the means 26 and, then, the desired winding unit actuates the dropping means 27, thereby dropping the tube 13 into the desired storage means 3 of the winding unit.
