To solve the problems that, regarding yellow pigments that are classified broadly into inorganic pigments and organic pigments in general, the yellow inorganic pigments mostly contain heavy metals possibly posing the problem of toxicity in their use and after their discard, while the organic pigments, although the toxicity problem is less severe, as compared with the inorganic pigments, are synthesized via multi-stage chemical reactions necessary to construct their complex chemical structures thus to result in the need of complicated manufacturing processes.
The yellow coloring matter composition contains 0.5 wt.% niobium and 50 wt.%, as a total, of niobium, carbon and oxygen in the chemical composition. The composition has a spectral reflectance of 50% at wavelengths of 600-800 nm and one of 60% at the wavelength of 400 nm. The composition is manufactured by mixing an alkoxide of niobium and phenol or a phenolic compound to produce a solution or slurry.
