Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of industrially applying C.I.PigmentYellow 155, which is a yellow pigment excellent in safety and having high color developability and light resistance and a wide color reproduction gamut, to an emulsion polymerization aggregation method manufacturing in an aqueous medium not including an organic solvent; and a yellow toner that has suppressed exposure of the pigment to the surface of the toner, prevents the occurrence of image defects, such as fogging and dirt even after a long-term use, has good light resistance, and prevents the occurrence of discoloration even after a long-term exhibition or exposure.SOLUTION: A yellow toner for electrostatic charge image development includes toner base particles obtained by aggregating a binder resin dispersant and a pigment dispersant containing C.I.PigmentYellow 155, which are in a specific particle diameter relationship, in an aqueous medium to form particles.
