Abstract:

To provide an adsorption heat pump with high efficiency using adsorption material adsorbing and desorbing vapor in a low relative vapor pressure region.

This operation method is provided for the adsorption heat pump including an adsorbate, an adsorption/desorption section having an adsorption material that adsorbs/desorbs the adsorbate, an evaporating section connected to the adsorption/desorption section for evaporating the adsorbate, and a condensing section connected to the adsorption/desorption section for condensing the adsorbate, wherein the adsorption material is vapor adsorbing material containing zeolite, the zeolite contains aluminum, phosphorus and silicon in a skeletal structure, the integral intensity area of signal intensity of -108 ppm to -123 ppm in 29Si-MAS-NMR spectral of the zeolite is 10% or less of the integral intensity area of signal intensity of-70 ppm to -123 ppm, and in desorbing the adsorbate from the adsorption material to regenerate the adsorption material, the temperature of heating a heat medium is 100°C or lower.
