PURPOSE: To provide a multiply layered steel sheet excellent in workability, corrosion resistance and heat resisting/damping capacity and utilized as the structural material for general processing including automobiles and architectural materials.
CONSTITUTION: This alloy composite type plated damping steel sheet is the one in which the surface of a base steel sheet with a multiply layered structure produced in such a manner that, in an A layer of steel contg. 0.0005-0.0800% C, 0.05-1.50% Mn, 0.003-0.2% P, ≤0.1% Al and 0.0010-0.0500% N and a B layer of a twin crystal type damping alloy, the structure of the sheet thickness direction of A-B-A is formed at the time of casting, and the ratio of the thickness of the B layer to the total sheet thickness after solidification is regulated to 4-60% is applied with Zn-Cr alloy coating. Thus, corrosion resistance, workability, damping capacity and low cost as those of a multiply layered steel sheet are reconciled, and it shows excellent effect when being used for automotibles, architectural materials or the like.
