Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens barrel having no possibility that a brush is deformed. SOLUTION: A lens base member 1 is composed of a metallic plate, and a cam barrel 2, a fixed barrel 3 and a moving barrel 4 are attached to the member 1. This lens barrel is provided with a code disk 35 constituted of a conductive part and a non-conductive part and having lens position information on the outer peripheral surface of the cam barrel 2. By bending one part of the member 1, a brush supporting part 11, an arm part 14 and a brush protection part 15 are formed. A brush member 5 is attached to the brush supporting part 11, and brought into contact with the code disk 35. The brush protection part 15 is positioned outside the brush member 5 and protects it. At the time of assembling a camera, a finger or other members are prevented from being brought into contact with the brush member 5, so that defect in the detection of the lens position information caused by the deformation of the brush member 5 is restrained.
