Abstract:
To provide a camera capable of making a camera body much compacter by effectively utilizing the housing space of a strobe light emitting unit.
The camera 11 is provided with the strobe light emitting unit 17 having a xenon tube 21 and a reflector 20 reflecting flash light from the xenon tube 21 toward the front of the camera, and a zoom lens 13 driven by a motor 23. In such a case, the motor 23 is positioned at the rear of the unit 17 and arranged so that its rotary shaft 23a may be faced toward a plane nearly orthogonal to the optical axis of the lens 13.
