Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustment mechanism and an adjustment method by which positional adjustment can be easily performed.SOLUTION: An adjustment mechanism 1 fixes a liquid discharge head 102 to a base plate 10 while positionally adjusting the head. The adjustment mechanism 1 comprises a first plate 20, a second plate 30, a rotary cam 40 and first energization means 50. The first plate 20 has a position in a circumferential direction C which can be changed with respect to the base plate 10 and is fixed to the base plate 10. The second plate 30 is so provided on the first plate 20 as to be movable in a direction different from the circumferential direction C with respect to the first plate 20, and the liquid discharge head 102 is fixed to the second plate. The first energization means 50 energizes the second plate 30 towards the rotary cam 40 in a horizontal direction, and suppresses floating-up of the second plate 30 from the first plate 20. The rotary cam 40 can position the second plate 30 while moving the second plate against an energization force of the first energization means 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
