Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily execute visual check of a printed matter that is determined to be defective by an inspection machine.SOLUTION: A post-processing apparatus includes a roller pair which can sandwich a sheet with a first roller having a protrusion on the outer peripheral surface and a second roller having a recess on the outer peripheral surface; and a drive unit which drives rotation of the roller pair, and performs post-processing on the sheet formed with the image. When a defect is detected in the image formed on the sheet, the roller pair driven by the drive unit rotates, and a fold is formed along the sheet conveyance direction in a cutting-planned region of the sheet by sandwiching the sheet with the protrusion of the first roller and the recess of the second roller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
