To reduce a stress level by activating a parasympathetic nerve of a person existing in a closed space.SOLUTION: An air conditioning apparatus comprises an atmospheric pressure control device 12, an oxygen enricher 14, and a carbon dioxide removal device 70. The atmospheric pressure control device 12 is configured to make the atmospheric pressure and oxygen concentration in a high atmospheric pressure room 80 higher than those of the outside so as to activate a parasympathetic nerve of a person existing in the high atmospheric pressure room 80 more than those when the person exists outside the atmospheric pressure room 80. The atmospheric pressure control device 12 is also configured to reduce carbon dioxide concentration in the high atmospheric pressure room 80 increased by breathing of the person existing in the atmospheric pressure room 80.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
