Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner capable of appropriately determining the necessity of pre-defrosting operation.SOLUTION: An air-compressor comprises: a coolant circuit; evaporation temperature detection means; and a control device. The coolant circuit has: a compressor; an outdoor heat exchanger; an indoor heat exchanger; a decompressor; and a flow passage switching unit. In heating operation, the control device performs: a first determination process to determine the necessity of defrosting the outdoor heat exchanger; a second determination process, when determining that defrosting the outdoor heat exchanger is necessary, to determine the necessity of performing pre-defrosting operation control to increase a rotation speed of the compressor so that a room temperature becomes a target temperature higher than a set temperature by a predetermined temperature on the basis of a detection result of an evaporation temperature of the coolant in the coolant circuit; and defrosting operation control, when determining that pre-defrosting operation control is not necessary, allowing a high temperature coolant to flow into the outdoor heat exchanger with the flow direction of the coolant discharged from the compressor switched from the indoor heat exchanger to the outdoor heat exchanger without performing the pre-defrosting operation control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
