Abstract:
To reduce an inrush current when starting charging a capacitor of an alarm device without performing a setting operation of charge start timing using a dip switch by a worker in an alarm system in which one alarm control apparatus simultaneously supplies a power supply voltage to a plurality of alarm devices via a transmission line and each of the alarm devices charges the capacitor with the power supply voltage and simultaneously performs an alarm operation by simultaneously discharging the capacitor.SOLUTION: When constructing each optical alarm device, a power supply voltage from an optical alarm control apparatus 1 is detected. A detection value of the power supply voltage in each optical alarm device is different because of a voltage drop caused by wiring resistance. Each optical alarm device sets and stores different charge start timing in accordance with the power supply voltage. When the power supply voltage from the optical alarm control apparatus 1 is detected in a standby state, each optical alarm device starts the charge in the stored charge start timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
