Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode, a lithium air battery including the same, and a method of preparing the cathode.SOLUTION: A cathode comprises a carbon composite, which comprises a core and a non-insulated coating layer that is disposed on the core. The core comprises one or more selected from a first carbon material and a second carbon material that is a product of heat treatment of the first carbon material. The coating layer comprises a metal/metalloid-containing semiconductor. The cathode employs oxygen as a cathode active material.
