PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an answer grading device capable of automatically grading answers including graphs.SOLUTION: An answer grading device includes: a storage part storing model answers to questions asked and answers; an answer analysis part 11a which, in the model answers stored to the storage part, as an object to be a unit to be used for grading, extracts objects from a text part of the model answer, a table part of the model answer, and a graph part of the model answer and stores them in the storage part in a specific order and, in the respective answers stored in the storage part, as objects, extracts objects from the text part of the answer, the table part of the answer, and the graph part of the answer, and stores the extracted objects in the storage part in a specific order; and an answer evaluation part 11b which compares the objects stored in the specific orders with each other and performs automatic grading.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
