To provide an antenna system which allows for formation of a plurality of beams and in which increase in a circuit scale due to increase in the number of antenna elements can be reduced.SOLUTION: The antenna system of an embodiment includes a first array antenna, a transmission unit, a second array antenna, and a transmission weight determination unit. The first array antenna includes a plurality of first antenna elements. The transmission unit transmits, to each of the first antenna elements, a transmission signal obtained by multiplying a signal by transmission weight corresponding to the first antenna element. The second array antenna includes a plurality of second antenna elements that receive, as an input, a transmission signal and transmit the input transmission signal in a direction different from a direction toward the first array antenna. The transmission weight determination unit determines transmission weight for the first antenna elements on the basis of phases or phases and amplitude of the respective antenna elements determined depending on a transmission beam shape of the second array antenna and positions of the second antenna elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
