Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acting force measurement device for measuring forces acting between a steering wheel being held and operated by hands of an operator and the hands of the operator.SOLUTION: An acting force measurement device includes: finger-worn members 117-207 which are worn on fingers of an operator; force detection units 11-20, each having a force sensor 118-208 fixed on each worn member to be positioned between an object being operated and a finger when the operator holds the object being operated with hands; and an arithmetic control unit 50 which computes acting forces based on forces detected by the force sensors. Each force sensor detects force in at least two directions comprising a direction of depression force applied by a finger of the operator on the object being operated and another direction perpendicular thereto, and the arithmetic control unit computes acting forces using the force in the at least two directions detected by each force sensor.
