PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the work efficiency of article carrying.SOLUTION: An article carrying system comprises: a controller including a tray retrieval part storing information on the positions of trays 11 stored in fixed shelves 6 to retrieve storage positions of a plurality of trays in the fixed shelves 6 to be picked up on the basis of the information on the positions of the trays 11, a route generation part for generating a route that goes around the position of each tray 11 retrieved by the tray retrieval part, and a transmission processing part for transmitting information of the generated route, and the storage position of a tray to a tray carrying device 2; and the tray carrying device 2 including an acquisition device for acquiring a plurality of storage parts on the basis of the storage positions of storage parts while moving according to the information of the route, and a storage part for loading the plurality of the storage parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
