Abstract:
To provide an artificial marble that allows its decorative sheet pattern to be visible and expresses feeling of depth through the same sheet.SOLUTION: The artificial marble includes: a compound layer 10 composed of a resin compound; a decorative sheet 20 provided on the compound layer 10; a surface side protective layer 30 provided on the surface side of these layers. The surface side protective layer 30 is delustered (matte-like) by sandpaper polishing so as to have a predetermined glossiness and surface roughness, thereby a non-printed part of the decorative sheet and fiber of the sheet being hidden and the pattern of the compound layer being visible through the decorative sheet, imparting the feeling of depth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
