Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping valve that can prevent oscillation of a damping valve and does not cause any disturbance in a damp force waveform, and to provide a cylinder device applied with a damping valve.SOLUTION: A damping valve includes: a damp force adjustment passage and a fail passage arrayed in parallel; a downstream passage connected downstream of the damp force adjustment passage and the fail passage; a relief valve provided in the damp force adjustment passage; an on-off valve provided in the fail passage and set as normal open; a solenoid for adjusting valve opening pressure of the relief valve and closing the on-off valve when being energized; and an orifice provided in the downstream passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
