Abstract:
An axial fan comprises a hub (31) to which a rotating shaft (20) is attached, and five or fewer blades (41) provided on the hub (31). The blades (41) each have a leading edge (45) positioned forward in the rotation direction of the rotating shaft (20), a trailing edge (46, 71) positioned rearward in the rotation direction of the rotating shaft (20), and a porous part (61). Denoting the dimension from the leading edge (45) to the trailing edge (46, 71) as the chord length (L1), the porous part (61) is located at a position at least 40% of the chord length (L1) behind the leading edge (45).
