Title:
The backseat for a polyester film and solar cell modules, and a solar cell module
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP5993613
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
A polyester film which has at least one layer containing a CHDM-based polyester that comprises 0.1 to 20 mol% or 80 to 100 mol% of structural units derived from 1,4-cyclohexane- dimethanol relative to the diol component and which exhibits an intrinsic viscosity (IV) of 0.6 to 1.5dL/g and a maximum stress retention of 40 to 95% as determined after the film has been heated at 180°C and a relative humidity of 0% for 120 hours, said maximum stress retention being relative to the maximum stress of the fresh film. The polyester film exhibits excellent heat resistance, so that, when used as a backsheet in a solar cell module in such a state that the film adheres tight to a sealing material, the film can keep the tight adhesion at a good level even after dry-thermo exposure.
