Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balancer capable of efficiently discharging oil in a housing to the outside.SOLUTION: A balancer housing 14 includes: a bearing wall (27, 28) provided between two chambers (31, 32 and 32, 33) adjacent to each other, and pivotally supporting a pair of balancer shafts (12L, 12U); a communication passage 35 for oil penetrating the bearing wall at a lower part; and a ventilation passage 52 penetrating the bearing wall at a position of not sinking into oil at an upper part, and formed linearly so as to open to an outer surface 14h of the balancer housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
