PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of a packing work, and provide a wrap round packing device free from upsetting or wobbling and capable of simplify the structure of the box forming step portion.

CONSTITUTION: A warp round packing device is provided with a material storing portion 3 for storing materials 2 in a fixed position, a working robot 7 provided with a grip means for gripping the materials and a material gripping mechanism having a right and left moving mechanism for moving the grip means right and left, and a blank sheet supplying portions 4, 5 for supplying a blank sheet 6 into fixed right and left positions A, B by a piece of sheet. The materials stored on the material storing portion by the material gripping mechanism of the working robot is gripped to transport it on the bottom part of the blank sheet supplied into the right and left fixed positions A, B and to press it down with being gripped. In the process wherein the materials are descended, the material is packed while forming the blank sheet into a box shape.
