Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module and a battery pack in which a constant surface can be given to a laminate unit cell, durability can be enhanced without increasing the size and weight, and layout and production efficiency can be enhanced.SOLUTION: A battery module 16 comprises: two laminate unit cells 14, 14 laminated to face each other while spaced apart; an elastic member 32 interposed between the laminate unit cells 14, 14 and resiliently biasing the laminate unit cells 14, 14 in the separating direction; a set of holding plates 34, 34 for holding the two laminate unit cells 14, 14 from the outside in the lamination direction; and distance fixing means 36 for defining the distance between the holding plates 34, 34. A battery pack 10 is constituted by combining a plurality of laminates 18 in which a plurality of battery modules 16 are laminated.
