Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such as complication of a structure of an apparatus, malfunction of the apparatus, prolongation of a process time, malfunction due to catching of a tip of a bead apex rubber.SOLUTION: There are a forming step P1, a joint space opening step P2, a joint space closing step P3, and a connecting step P4. In the forming step P1, in a rear closed state R of a bead apex molding chamber 11, an unvulcanized rubber G is caused to flow while rotating a bead core A to form a bead apex rubber B having a front end portion Bf. In the joint space opening step P2, when the front end portion Bf approaches a rear shutter portion 9, a second side surface S2 is removed together with the rear shutter portion 9, and a joint space J having an open side of the second side surface S2 is formed between a rear end Br and the front end Bf. In the joint space closing step P3, the joint space J is closed by disposing a third side face S3 extending between the rear end Br and the front end Bf. In the connecting step P4, the unvulcanized rubber is caused to flow into the joint space J closed, thereby the rear end Br and the front end Bf are connected together.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
