Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actuate a main engine in a proper load region even when a required power supply amount is generated by a main shaft power generator.SOLUTION: A blade angle arithmetic unit 11 is used for controlling a variable pitch propeller 20 of a vessel 1, which includes: the variable pitch propeller 20 with a variable blade angle; and a main shaft power generator 40 which uses a part of an output of a main engine 30 to supply power. The blade angle arithmetic unit includes: a blade angle reduction amount arithmetic section 110 which calculates a blade angle reduction amount, on the basis of a power supply amount of the main shaft power generator 40 and a rotational frequency of the main engine 30; and a blade angle arithmetic section 111 which subtracts the blade angle reduction amount calculated by the blade angle reduction amount arithmetic section 110 from a prescribed reference blade angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
