Abstract:
To provide a box-shaped compression apparatus that can improve compressibility of an object to be compressed and improve maintainability.SOLUTION: A box-shaped compression apparatus 1 comprises: a belt conveyor 340 that conveys an object to be compressed toward a downstream while placing the object thereon; a lower compression roller 410 arranged at a downstream side of the belt conveyor 340; and an upper compression roller 440, arranged at a downstream side of the belt conveyor 340 and arranged in parallel to a rotation axis of the lower compression roller, above the lower compression roller 410, which compresses the object to be compressed conveyed by the belt conveyor 340 in cooperation with the lower compression roller 410. On a rotary outer peripheral surface of the lower compression roller 410 are provided a plurality of lower protrusion portions 412 that are parallel to the rotation axis of the lower compression roller 410 and are long in a width direction of the upper compression roller 440, and on a rotary outer peripheral surface of the upper compression roller 440 are provided a plurality of upper protrusion portions 442 that are parallel to the rotation axis of the upper compression roller 440 and are long in the width direction of the upper compression roller 440.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
