Abstract:
To provide a brake device which enables improvement of layout properties.SOLUTION: A brake device includes: a master cylinder in which a piston is provided in a cylinder of a master cylinder housing; a stroke simulator in which a reaction piston is provided in a cylinder of a stroke simulator housing; a reservoir tank capable of supplying a brake fluid to the master cylinder; and bolts which are inserted into bolt holes provided at the master cylinder housing and bolt holes provided at the stroke simulator housing and fix the master cylinder housing to the stroke simulator housing. The reservoir tank and the bolts are disposed so as not to overlap with each other as viewed in a vehicle vertical direction when the brake device is mounted on a vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
