Abstract:
To provide a brushless synchronous machine capable of improving the cooling capacity of a cooling fan while suppressing increase in the number of components.SOLUTION: A brushless synchronous electric generator 100 comprises: a generator body 110 where a rotor 113, provided on a revolving shaft 114 supported rotatably, is disposed inside a stator 112 and a cooling fan 116 is provided on the revolving shaft 114; an AC exciter 120 where a rotor 123 provided on the revolving shaft 114 projecting from a frame 111 of the generator body 110 is disposed inside a stator 122; a rotary rectifier 131 for rectifying an AC current, supplied from the rotor 123 of the AC exciter 120, into a DC current supplied to the rotor 123 of the generator body 110; and a discharge resistor 141 for protecting the rotary rectifier 131, wherein the discharge resistor 141 is attached to a holding drum 123e of integral structure with a coil retainer 123d for fixing a coil 123c of the rotor 123 of the AC exciter 120 to an iron core 123b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
