Abstract:
To provide a shock absorber which can suppress the lowering of productivity.SOLUTION: A shock absorber has: a passage 185 from which a working fluid flows to a chamber at a downstream side from a chamber at an upstream side in a cylinder 2 by the movement of a piston 18; first attenuation force generation mechanisms 41, 42 arranged in the passage 185, valve-closed in a region in which a piston speed is low, and valve-opened in a region in which the piston speed is higher than the low speed; and a second attenuation force generation mechanism 182 arranged in the passage 185, and valve-opened from the region in which the piston speed is low. The second attenuation force generation mechanism 182 has a disc valve 102 which is cantilevered by support members 100, 105 and 106, and elastically deformed by a pressure difference between the two chambers. A free end of the disc valve 102 opposes a piston rod 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
