To provide a camera, a camera array, and a camera array system capable of reducing processing load of host PCs (computers), decreasing transmission amount of camera images to be transmitted and acquiring correct three-dimensional information of objects.
The camera 5 is used in the camera eye system S to acquire three-dimensional information of an object to receive a compensation command in order to compensate a geometric distortion included in image data of the imaged object from a computer 3 through a communication means 15, and transmits the compensated image data after compensating in accordance with the compensation command through the communication means 15. The camera 5 includes an imaging means 7, a calibration treatment means 9 and a region extracting means 11.
