Abstract:
To provide a card reader provided in an entry/exit management system that displays in an identifiable manner unlocking of electric locks performed by an artificial operation and simultaneous unlocking of the electric locks in association with occurrence of a fire to enable immediate and appropriate handling.SOLUTION: A card reader 10 is utilized in an entry/exit management system, and operates by reading information recorded on a card medium carried by a user. Display lamps (alert issuing display lamps 24) provided on both side surfaces of the card reader 10 and arranged from the side surface parts to the front part make display in a different display mode for each of alarms and failures so that a type of the alarms or failures can be identified from display of the display lamps, and upon receipt of a predetermined signal concerning a fire, emit a plurality of types of predetermined colors to be warm colors to display the image of a flame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
