Abstract:
To provide: a heavy object transfer device provided with an air-floating transfer device that can be detachably fixed to a heavy object or a base plate; and a transfer carriage capable of changing positions of the air-float transfer devices according to a size and weight of a heavy object to achieve an appropriate weight distribution.SOLUTION: A heavy object transfer device 1 comprises an air-floating transfer device 2 housed in a rectangular frame base 3 having a flange portion 3a on an outer side thereof. The air-float transfer device 2 is supported by a support portion 7 provided on an inner side of the frame base 3. The transfer carriage 10 comprises a plurality of heavy object transfer devices 1 arranged in parallel between paired parallel base frames 11. The heavy object transfer device 1 is slidable along the parallel base frames 11 so that flange portions 3a of the frame base 3 of the heavy object transfer device 1 overlap inner flanges 11a of the parallel base frames 11. The two transfer carriages 10 are arranged in parallel, and base plates 12 are detachably fixed onto outer flange 11b of the parallel base frames 11 with clamps 15 on the two transfer carriages 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
