Abstract:
Provided is a cassette in which a medium to be printed including a to-be-printed layer and a release layer can be conveyed smoothly. A printing tape 22 is conveyed from a printing tape roll 26 to a head space 11 in a winding direction D along a conveyance path HK defined in a case 19. This prevents a release tape 22c from peeling off from a to-be-printed tape 22a due to reverse of an inner side and an outer side of the printing tape 22 during conveyance of the printing tape 22 as conventionally occurred. Thus, the printing tape 22 including the print-receiving tape 22a and the release tape 22c can be conveyed smoothly.
