Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel filler for a reaction tube capable of controlling a reaction ratio near reaction tube inlet, reducing loads biased to a catalyst in the reaction band range and dispersing loads over whole catalyst layer in a fixed floor flow reaction by using a multitubular exchange type reactor and a reaction method using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a columnar catalyst for contact gas phase reaction used by being filled in a reaction tube, having a columnar shape, of which length in a longer direction is longer than an inner diameter of the reaction tube, and having at least one or more open hole in the longer direction.SELECTED DRAWING: None
