Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for cross coupling dramatically improved in catalyst activity compared with a conventional catalyst, capable of making best use of a metal surface on a catalyst efficiently in a cross coupling reaction by using transition metal ultrafine particles comprising a transition metal and a coordinating organic solvent, which does not include a component such as a ligand, protective agent, or polymer, and to provide a cross coupling reaction using the catalyst.SOLUTION: There are disclosed the catalyst for the cross coupling reaction comprising the transition metal ultrafine particles including at least one transition metal selected from a group consisting of group 8-11 transition metals and the coordinating organic solvent, and moreover, the cross coupling reaction using the catalyst for the cross coupling reaction.
