Abstract:
To provide a catalyst used to efficiently produce the aggregate of carbon fibers which facilitates dispersion into a resin and whose conductivity in the resin improves by using the catalyst and a method for producing the catalyst.
In the presence of the catalyst which is powder made of a metal-containing material having a plane on the surface, with the use of a raw material gas containing carbon, minute hollow carbon fibers are formed.
