PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel technique which can improve gas decomposition efficiency.SOLUTION: A catalyst-carrying electrode 10 has a noble metal catalyst 4 carried thereon. The catalyst-carrying electrode comprises an electrode base material 1 comprising a metal material, an oxide film 2 that is formed on the surface of the electrode base material 1 and has the noble metal catalyst 4 carried thereon, and an inorganic particle 3 that is fixed to at least part of the oxide film 2 surface and has the noble metal catalyst 4 carried thereon.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
