Title:
Negative terminal for battery
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6342231
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative terminal for a battery in which the sealing performance between a negative terminal 3 formed of a clad material and a resin layer 41 is enhanced.SOLUTION: A negative terminal 3 is formed of a clad material in which a copper portion 61 connected to a negative electrode collector and an aluminum portion 62 leading to the outside are joined at each other at an interface 63. A nickel plated layer 71 is provided on the surface of the copper portion 61. A resin layer 41 is provided to surround the periphery of the interface 63, and an exterior package body formed of a laminate film is thermally fused and fixed onto the resin layer 41. On the principal surfaces 64a, 64b, the length x1 of the resin layer 41 overlapped with the nickel plated layer 71 is set to be longer than the length x2 of the resin layer 41 overlapped with the aluminum portion 62. Accordingly, a large adhesion area to the nickel plated layer 71 can be secured and the sealing performance can be enhanced.
